The AtmosFX MEdia Player features an HDMI input and will work with any media device that uses HDMI.
With the right adapter cables, HDMI can connect to many other types of connections.
HDMI provides up to 1080p quality video and also an audio signal.
Component "YPbPr" Cables
The 3.5mm "Component" port on the Media Player can transmit 720p video, but no audio.
You'll need a cable with a 3.5mm adapter, like this one:
The audio will have to be connected separately using the separate "AV" audio output (more on that in a moment.)
The "AV" port can be used to connect a 3.5mm to "composite" cable adapter, like this:
Composite cable delivers 480i SD video as well as audio.
The Media Player includes 1 Composite cable adapter. All other cables and adapters are not included
If you are using an HDMI or Composite connection, you won't need to use a separate audio signal.
If you are using a component cable, or would like to hook up audio devices like speakers or Bluetooth transmitters to your Media Player, you can use the 3.5mm "AV" plug.
